-end of header-Hey people! I finally made that tutorial thing I said I was going to make.
Well, I wouldn't call it tutorial, more like, tips fo MS Paint.
I hope you all understand it, and if you want to ask something or if you
have any doubts, comment on this journal!
Let's get rolling then:

I jumped a few steps to make it faster. Basically, I sketched the picture
in soft gray with the pencil tool. Then I 'inked' the sketch with the brush tool and in black. Then you have to clean the picture, and the easiest way to do it is to fill every white space with the color you used to sketch. I used soft gray to sketch, so I used the very same gray to fill the white pockets in the whole picture. Then, when you fill them with white again, the sketch under the inked version dissapears.
When you're done cleaning, then you have to clean again! with the eraser
tool, make the corners edgy, clean out of place pixels and anything that
can be fixed.
Afterwards, you add the character's coloring. I use the pencil tool to
outline the shadows, then I fill them with the right colors. Try to use the
shadow's color to outline them.
side note: I like to save the sketch, inked and colored and cleaned version in three different files, just in case

Now, let's talk about the background. Here I used one of the stock backgrounds I have (Because I save the bg and the character in different
files, and the finished picture as a third file*). Basically, I make the
canvas bigger so that I can copy and past the character, then I fill the
white spots inside the character with red.

Next I select the character and move it into the background (don't forget
to turn the transparency on). When I have the image on the right place, I
fill the red spots with white again.

Finally, I make the canvas smaller, and here's the finished piece:

I hope you found these tips useful, and comment if you didn't understand something.
About the sketching and inking part, *
MyNameIsMad has a better tutorial than this one
[link]I don't no what else to say, so gtfo now.
*In conclusion, when I make a drawing in Paint, I use five different files: sketch, inked, colored and cleaned character, background and the final picture.
